How a job moves through production · Jaipur, Rajasthan

Production Process

Every job follows the same route at Shree Fine Arts. We confirm the specification and material, the print requirement goes to established specialised print partners, and the carton then comes back for in-house coating or lamination, die cutting, folder gluing or carton erection. Production is checked against the approved job requirement before dispatch.

The route

Nine stages from specification to dispatch

The sequence below is the same for every job. What changes is which stages a particular carton needs — not every job requires coating, lamination or carton erection.

About the artwork stage

“Artwork / print requirement” refers to the design the carton is produced to. It does not mean Shree Fine Arts provides artwork design services.

  1. Requirement / specification

We confirm the carton or box, the finished size, the quantity and what the packaging has to do.

    With you
  2. Material selection

Board type and GSM are selected according to box size, structure, application and customer requirement.

    In-house
  3. Artwork / print requirement

The print requirement is confirmed from the artwork the job is produced to.

    Confirmed with you
  4. Commercial printing, where required

Where the job needs commercial offset printing, it is coordinated through established specialised print partners.

    Partner-managed
  5. Coating or lamination, where applicable

UV, aqueous or water-resistant coating, or matte or gloss lamination, applied in-house where the job requires it.

    In-house
  6. Die cutting / die punching

The carton is cut to shape from printed board. Where a suitable die is not already available, one can be produced for the job.

    In-house
  7. Folder gluing or carton erection, where applicable

Side-pasting and folder gluing for suitable carton structures, or carton erection for boat trays, meal boxes and clamshell burger boxes.

    In-house
  8. Inspection

Production is checked against the approved job requirement before dispatch.

    In-house
  9. Packing / dispatch

The finished cartons are packed and dispatched.

Printing

One coordinated workflow

Printing is coordinated through established specialised print partners, while converting and finishing processes such as die punching, coating, lamination, folder gluing and carton erection are managed in-house by Shree Fine Arts.

We do not operate our own commercial offset press. Being clear about which stages run in-house and which are coordinated with partners means you know exactly who is doing the work on your cartons.

Why the workflow is set up this way

A specialised print partner brings the printing, and we bring the converting and finishing. The job stays with one team that manages both, so you are not left coordinating the stages yourself.

We do not publish the names of our printing partners.

What we need to start

The more of this you can share up front, the faster the job moves through the stages above.

  • the carton or box you need, and what it will hold
  • finished size, or the dimensions to work from
  • quantity you are planning
  • material preference, if you have one
  • printing and finishing requirements
  • the artwork the job is produced to

What you get

  • One team coordinating both the print stage and the in-house converting work
  • Converting and finishing carried out at our own operation in Jaipur
  • Production checked against the approved job requirement before dispatch

You are not left coordinating the print and converting stages yourself, and you have one point of contact if anything needs to change.

FAQs

Production questions

Is printing done in-house?
No. Commercial offset printing is coordinated through established specialised print partners. Converting and finishing are handled in-house by Shree Fine Arts.
Which stages are in-house?
Die cutting and die punching, UV coating, aqueous coating, water-resistant coating, lamination, folder gluing, carton erection, spot UV, drip-off, embossing and foil stamping.
Does Shree Fine Arts provide artwork design?
We do not claim artwork design as a service. Artwork is the design the carton is produced to. If you need design support, tell us and we will be clear about what we can and cannot provide.
How long does production take?
Custom production typically takes approximately 7–10 days depending on the product and specification. Stocked formats can typically be dispatched sooner, subject to availability. The product pages carry the wording that applies to each category.
Who do I deal with across the whole job?
Shree Fine Arts. We coordinate the print stage with our partners and carry out the converting and finishing ourselves, so the job stays with one team from specification to dispatch.
